Implemented innovative Extension Methodologies like Tribal youth network programme and Farm science clubs in tribal areas of Vizianagaram district for faster dissemination of information to the tribal community. The methodology developed by me only with fortnightly interactions, field visits and Exposure visits etc.,
Implemented IIDS – AKPS Programme to give agro advisories to the farmers by voice call answers, sending voice and text messages to the farmers timely. And organized a workshop on IIDS with the participation Dr. M S Rao IAS, CEO, Digital India Corporation, New Delhi, ADR, Scientists of NC Zone and farmers on 05-01-2018.
Conducted various innovative methods for transfer of technology like dial out conferences, Audio and video conference, Jio Chats, live programme in cable TV with the farmers to give timely advises and get the feedback of the farmers.
Organised a university level workshop to the Extension scientists of ANGRAU on strengthening of Extension services at DAATTC, Vizianagaram with the participation of Director of Extension, ANGRAU, PAIO, ANGRAU, PD, DRDA and other local line department officers.
Received University level best DAATTC award as Coordinator, DAATTC, Vizianagaram during 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Worked in convergence with Dept. of Agriculture and NGOs which contributed to the spread of university varieties and technologies of various crops.
Worked with ICAR, ATMA, DCCD, MGNREGS and received external funding worth of Rs. 45 lakhs and utilized for the institutional development and extension activities.
Tested minikits of major crops (Paddy & pulses) and introduced the minikit entry after release as variety and successfully popularized the variety for their spread.
Extension studies were conducted on various need based topics and feedback was given to the research scientists.
Organized farmer – scientist interaction programmes and virtual capacity building programmes to famers and Extension personnel.
ICTs in Extension, Extension methodologies, adoption and diffusion studies on recent technologies.
Presented 17 research papers in various international and national conferences and received 2 best poster presentation awards and 1 best oral presentation award.
Member of 5 professional societies like Indian society of Extension Education, Society of Extension Education, Society of Extension Professionals etc.
Acted as member of task force committee for application of ICT tools in ANGRAU.
Acting as referee for AP Journal of Ag Sciences and International Journal of Agricultural Sciences.
Acted as resource person for national and state level training programmes.
Acted as external examiner for evaluation of thesis of UAS, Bengaluru.
