Screened 6500 AICRIP rice entries and found 568 entries promising against mixed population of plant hoppers (BPH and WBPH).

Promoted IDM practices like, deep summer ploughing, thorough puddling, seed treatment, clean cultivation, frequent irrigation
with fresh water and one round of spray with tebuconazole at panicle emergence stage for effective control of stem rot in rice.
Created awareness among farmers on viral diseases of pulses (Black gram and Green gram) like leaf curl virus, yellow mosaic virus and
leaf crinckle virus and their management practices.
Evaluated minikit cultures of paddy MTU 1226, 1224, 1194, 1184, 1262, 1217, 1238, 1210,1211,1187, NLR 4001, 3186,
3354,40054 and BPT 2615, MCM 103 in 210 locations. GBG 1, GBG 12, GGG 1, LGG574 in 20 locations, cotton L1060 in 5 locations.

programmes (20), Masters training programmes (8) and MPEO's training programmes (6). Also conducted Group discussions (84), Skill/method demonstrations (64), TV programmes (8) and Rythusadassu (15) .
Organized two farmers sensitization programme and involved in implementation of Annapoorna Krishi Prashara Sevaprogramme.
Conducted 26 Master trainers training programme in Valasapakala village and trained the master trainer farmers on package practices of rice.
