Notable contributions :
  • As District Project Manager and District and District Resource District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) –Srikakulam mobilized women to form as Self Help Groups ,Conducted various vocational training programmes for capacity building of farm women and coordinated various convergence programmes with line departments from 2003-2005.

  • As Course coordinator (District Livelihood Centre),DWMA, Srikakulam Conducted several capacity building programmes for livelihood enhancement of rural families. Prepared action plan for capacity building activities of farm women. Acted as Editorial board member for DWMA, Srikakulam newsletter “SikkoluJaladarshini 2005-2006.

  • Conducted OFTs, FLDs ,vocational training programmes and other extension activities to disseminate the improved farm technologies as SMS(Home Science) from 2006-2008.

  • Organized several On campus and off campus training programmes for the middle and top level extension officers of agriculture and allied departments of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Puducherry and Lakshadweep as Assistant professor at Extension Education Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation ,GOI for 8 years i.e from 2008-2015.

  • Involved in the Third party monitoring and evaluation of ATMA for the year 2008 -09 and 2009- 2010 in Andhra Pradesh and Submitted a report to the Government of India.

  • Conducted a study to Assess “The Farm Mechanization Status and Interventions in Vizianagaram District of AP” and submitted a detailed report to commissioner, Dept of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh.

  • A study on “Assessment of e-readiness of extension functionaries of southern states in Agricultural extension dissemination” was conducted in the client states of EEI.

  • Conducting research project on “ ICT enabled extension services for empowering farm families” which was proposed and approved in SLTP- 2016 17, ANGRAU.

  • Guided post graduate students in conducting academic research.
