The  prime objective of Open Distance Learning Certificate course is to impart technical knowhow and do how on agricultural production and processing technologies to various segments of learners who lack opportunity in campus based education in a non-formal and continuing education.

     Skill oriented certificate programmes in various subjects viz., Organic farming, Bee Keeping, Terrace gardening and Mushroom cultivation are being offered through Distance Learning Mode for those aspiring for knowledge updating, self employment and entrepreneurship development. The primary target groups are farmers, employees of Government /Private sectors, field service providers from local communities, unemployed youth, entrepreneurs, NGO’s and school dropouts.
