Notable contributions :
TEACHING :

Actively engaged in Teaching various UG, PG & Ph.D courses at S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati.

04 Ph.D students and 10 M. Sc. (Ag) students have completed their degrees successfully under my chairmanship as Major Advisor.

Worked as Warden, Girls hostel for one year, OAM (PG), NSS programme Officer, Officer in Charge (Health centre) as additional duties.

Actively involved in JRF coaching, which is very useful for University ranking.

As a member of various committees, actively involved in discharging the assigned duties to the utmost satisfaction of the higher authorities.

As a member, successfully organized Agricarnival both at Tirupati and Bapatla.

RESEARCH :

Involved in release of Six Forage crop varieties viz., Moti Bajra(fodder bajra) Vijaya( fodder cowpea), TSFB 15-4 (Fodder bajra), TSFM 15-5 (Fodder maize),  TSFB 15-8 (Fodder bajra) and TSHL-1 (Fodder lucerne).

Member in release committee of Tirupati Field Bean (TFB-1)

Actively participated in the establishment and development of new farm of AICRP-Forage Crops at ARI, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. Instrumental in establishing the fence and creation of irrigation facilities for the newly established farm.

Involved in monitoring of other regional AICRP Forage centres viz., Mandya,     Coimbatore etc.

Conducted experiments on Integrated Nutrient Management, Performance of forage crops under sewage water, Year-round fodder production and importance of micro nutrients to various forage crops, Agronomy of multi cut fodder sorghum and Bajra.

Actively involved in seed multiplication of NB hybrids and breeder and foundation seed production of fodder maize, fodder bajra, cowpea and daincha with an income generation of Rs 2.64 lakhs.

Also actively involved in breeder and foundation seed production of groundnut and paddy at ARS, Utukurand generated an amount of Rs. 52 lakhs during 2021-22 and Rs. 54 lakhs during 2022-23.

EXTENSION :

Participated in Rythu Chaitanya Yatralu in various mandals of Kalwakurthy division, in Rangareddy district and Maheswaram mandals.

Participated in Kisanmelas and ZREAC meetings of ANGRAU.

Published 35 popular articles in local language and given radio talks on various aspects.

Organized ZREAC meeting of Southern Zone successfully at ARS, Utukur on 19 and 20th April, 2022.

Acted as Co Organizing Secretary for NCPGS- 2019 and successfully organized the seminar for PG students.

Acted as Principal, POA, Utukur and discharged the assigned duties. About five students got AGRICET ranks during 2021-22 and five students during 2022-23.
