Significant contributions :
I. RESEARCH
Involvement in development of varieties / hybrids. As an agronomist, involved in the development of 15 varieties/Hybrids in the following crops Cotton-3, Foxtailmillet- 5, Chickpea- 5, Sunflower- 1, Tobacco-1
Technologies developed: Foxtail millet + redgram (5:1 ratio) inter cropping system for vertisols
Inclusion, foxtail millet as profitable preceding crop to chickpea in fallow-chickpea cropping system.
Studies on cropping systems and crop rotations
Development of contingency crop for delayed onset of monsoon in black cotton soils.
Scheduling of irrigation in bengalgram
Response of bengalgram to phosphorus application
Introduction of non-traditional crop – mustard, maize in black cotton of Kurnool district.
Introduction of foxtail millet preceding to bengalgram
II. TEACHING AND RESEARCH GUIDANCE:
a. Teaching:
As regular faculty at Agricultural College, Rajamahendravaram, three courses were taught to 1st and 3rd year students.
Four Agronomy courses were taught to M.Sc. (Ag) students of college of Agriculture, Mahanandi during 2010-11 and 2011-12.

Administrative Experience:
Worked in different positions as ADR, Godavari zone, RARS, Maruteru, ADR i/c Scarce Rainfall Zone, RARS, Nandyal, PS & Head, ARS, Kadiri, Head of ICAR Scheme-AICRP on small millets and HoD (Agronomy), Ag.College, Rajahmundry and has got about 7 yrs of experience.

Chaired/co-chaired in technical sessions in various Seminars/ Workshops/Symposia conducted at University level and National level workshops.
