Taught Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry courses at Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, including B.Sc. (Ag.), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. programmes, for four years. Guided 5 M.Sc. (Ag.) and 3 Ph.D. students as Major Advisor and served as Advisory Committee Member for 15 M.Sc. and 5 Ph.D. students. Actively mentored postgraduate students in advanced research areas of Soil Science and Agronomy.
Currently supervising research on solid waste management, soil pollution, nutrient use efficiency in different cropping systems and soil quality assessment. Undertaken 8 research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) with support from internal and external funding agencies. Published 64 research articles in reputed national and international journals. Research focus includes soil fertility improvement, nutrient management strategies and sustainable agricultural production systems. Also worked extensively with farmers to promote improved soil and crop management practices.
Strengthened Soil Science laboratory infrastructure and developed modern teaching aids to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning. Contributed to the revision and improvement of curricula for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programmes and prepared course content, study materials and practical manuals in both Telugu and English.
Compiled the Rules and Regulations for Postgraduate Programmes of Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) and contributed to drafting guidelines for establishment of affiliated colleges. Participated in strengthening institutional initiatives such as the NABARD Chair, Agricultural Polytechnic Colleges (APGC) and the Institute of Agribusiness Management (IABM). Accompanied University affiliation inspection teams during 2016–2018.
Actively involved in mobilizing funds from agencies such as ICAR, NABARD and DBT and contributed to development of institutional infrastructure including hostels, college buildings and knowledge centres. Participated in Faculty Board meetings, Academic Council meetings and academic policy formulation.
Actively involved in conducting Postgraduate counselling under State and ICAR quotas during 2015–2020 and from 2024 onwards. Involved in scrutiny of applications for recruitment and Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) promotions for Assistant Professors and Associate Professors. Compiled and documented PG Research Highlights for the years 2016–2023 and actively associated with organization of Annual Convocations of ANGRAU since 2015.
Instrumental in conducting coaching classes and mock tests, resulting in 9 students qualifying ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2021 JRF examination. Also conducted coaching classes for Polytechnic students, enabling several students to secure admission into B.Sc. (Agriculture) programmes.
Served as Convener, Mentor and Member in various committees for organizing trainings, workshops, conferences and academic activities. As General Secretary of the Association of Alumni of Agricultural College, Bapatla, organized seminars, workshops and personality development programmes and mobilized alumni funds for construction of the Alumni Guest House.
