Worked for 12 years on Rice Soil Research at Internationally acclaimed Research Station, Maruteru, as Scientist (2 years), Senior scientist (5 years) and Principal Scientist (5 years) cadres.
Worked as project scientist in The Netherlands Assisted FAO Project, Andhra Pradesh Water Management Project, Undi for 9 years.
Worked about 2 years in International Rice Research Institute (IRRI- India) as Senior Associate Scientist (Agronomy) in CSISA Project, Odisha Hub, India served as Hub –in charge for the eastern India.

Studied Long Term Effects Fertilizers in Rice- Rice Cropping system of Godavari Delta for soil health, carbon sequestration, modelling and metagenomic analysis of soil biome.
Studies on Reclamation of salt affected and water-logged areas of Godavari Delta involving identification of pilot area, conducted pre drainage investigations, design and execution of sub surface drainage system and its impact assessment on yield, soil and water quality and gender inclusive socioeconomics.
Developed leaching curves, salinity –sodicity relationships, developed empirical equations soil and water salinity influence on rice crop yields in salt affected soils.
Hydrologic modelling of Kolleru- Upputeru estuary using RS and GIS tools and Duflow modelling
Developed crop residue management strategies in rice- rice cropping system using insitu and exsitu decomposition strategies.
Quantification of Green House Gases in Rice- Rice Cropping system for Transplanted, wet DSR and AWD Conditions.
Agronomic Biofortification of rice grain through ferti –fortification in zinc sensitive and zinc enriched plant and soil regimes.
Involved in development and evaluation of Agronomic package for organic rice and natural farming in rice-rice cropping system of Godavari Delta.
Technology transfer of Direct Seed Rice in Eastern India.
