Contrived isolation and identification of nitrogen fixing bacteria Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. trifoli through 16Sr RNA analysis for new biofertilizer production for Rajmash crop of Visakhapatnam district.
Achieved isolation and identification of endophyte Kosakonia sacchari through 16Sr RNA analysis for new biofertilizer production for sugarcane crop in North Coastal AP.
Achieved isolation and identification of efficient Plant Growth-promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) for enhancement of groundnut yields.
Associated in standardization of vermi-composting techniques in sugarcane byproducts/cane wastes.
Identified AMV-5 variety with high biomass production for making paper pulp.
Established new biofertilizer production unit worth (Rs.72.16 lakhs) during 2014-15 and liquid bio fertilizer production unit worth (Rs.200 lakhs) during 2016-17 under RKVY at RARS, Anakapalle.

Associated in release of four Mesta varieties viz., AMV-5 (Durga) , AMV-7 (Janardhan), AMV-8 and AMV-9 (Aditya) and four Sugarcane varieties viz., 2000A 225 (Revathi),2003A 255 (Simhadri), 2009A 107 (Vasista) and 2009A 252 (Naveen).
Conducted studies on efficient land utilization and nutrient management for achieving economically higher cane yields in paired row sugarcane.
Explored economizing soil application of nitrogenous chemical fertilizers in conjunction with organic manures in sugarcane plant-ratoon system.
Characterized Sugar factory effluents in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and their effect on soil properties were studied.
Studied the effect of nutrient management practices on microflora of sugarcane rhizosphere.
Accomplished the complete mapping of soil fertility status in Srikakulam district.
Revisited the existing fertilizer recommendations for rice in North Coastal Zone.
Involved in documentation of Soil Resource Inventory of sugarcane growing soils of North Coastal Zone of Andhra Pradesh through classification and characterization.
Involved in micronutrient soil survey in Srikakulam district and collected 460 soil samples from 38 mandals using global positioning system (GPS).
Sugarcane juice quality analysis laboratory was also modernized with purchase of Sucrolyser and Refractometer at RARS, Anakapalle.
Through continuous quality monitoring of biofertilizers at RARS, Anakapalle,
produced around 110 tonnes of lignite based biofertilizers and 8,000 litres of
liquid biofertilizers (Rhizobium, Phosphobacteria, Azatobactor, Azospirillum and Potash
releasing bacteria) worth Rs.64.0 lakhs and supplied to farmers directly and through Agriculture
and allied departments.

Actively involved as Head, Soil Science Department in strengthening of the Soil Science laboratory by purchasing the equipment for estimation of soil physical, chemical and biological properties including estimation of micro nutrients and heavy metals at RARS, Anakapalle and the Soil Science laboratory was strengthened as Full pledged laboratory for Soil, Plant, Organic manures and Irrigation water analysis.
