Taught courses pertaining to Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry for the students of Diploma in Agriculture, B.Sc (Ag), B-Tech Agricultural Engineering and to post graduate and doctoral students in the Departments of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agronomy, Agricultural microbiology Soil and water conservation Engineering, water technology and Environmental Science with modern teaching aids for effective and sound perception of students.
Imparted technical skills to under graduate and post graduate students in operation of equipments used in analysis of soil, plant, water and manure samples especially in micronutrient estimation.

Successfully carried out Research programme as PI , Co-PI and associated PI in the areas viz.,
1. Rescheduling of recommended dose of fertilizers for cotton, maize and redgram
2. Evaluation of liquid bio fertilizers as component of INM
3. Assessment of the status of available micronutrients and nutrient mapping to reduce the cost of cultivation and in achieving better crop yields.
4. Organic farming and natural farming
5. Long term effect of fertilizers and manures on productivity of soils
6. Evaluation of rapid composting technologies and quality of compost obtained from different crop residues
As an Officer In-charge, Revolving fund activity analysed more than 5000 samples (soil, water and compost) of farmers and private enterprises time to time and generated income to a tune of Rs.5000000/-.
Generated and issued soil health cards including fertilizer recommendations of the crops to be grown to the farmers.
Effectively utilized an amount of Rs.32.5 lakhs sanctioned under RKVY-2014-15 for purchasing of various equipment and played vital role in improving the analytical facilities at RRU (Chemistry), RARS, Lam and the assets purchased under RKVY were geo-tagged and uploaded in Bhuvan portal .
Acted as Co- Principal Investigator for the externally funded project entitled “Exploring the linkages between soil quality, nutrient profile of foods and human health”
As Principal Investigator handled a project entitled “Establishment of Advanced Soil Health Laboratory at RARS, Lam” under RKVY-RAAFTAR 2019-2020 with a budget outlay of Rs. 1.50 crores to establish centre of excellence in assessing soil health.
Successfully conducted Paidup trial on “Bioefficacy evaluation of KAYAKALPA as soil conditioner in blackgram” and Anjan granules in bengalgram during kharif and rabi, 2019-2020 &2020-2021.
Acted as resource person to Scientists working in extension, Agricultural Officers and input dealers in Agriculture and Farmers of the zone in good number of training programmes organized by SAMETI, ATMA and MANAGE and imparted skills and updating knowledge on soil and water analysis, soil testing-importance, problem soils and management, soil health management and on production techniques of vermin composting.
