Involved in development of MTU 1140 (Bheema) flood tolerant rice variety from RARS, Maruteru.
Developed Saline tolerant, fine gram rice varieties MCM 100(Pandu Ranga), MCM 103 (MCM rice 103), MCM 109 and MCM 125 from Agricultural Research Station, Machilipatnam.
Developed YMV resistant / tolerant Black gram varieties GBG1 (Ghantasala Minumu-1), GBG 12 & GBG 45 and Green gram GGG 1 from Agricultural Research Station, Ghantasala.
Involved in the development of 2012V123, 2012V67,2015V112, 2018V78 sugar cane varieties from Sugarcane Research Station, Uyyuru.
Research Interests :
Breeding of rice, pulses and cash crops such as sugarcane by creation of variability and selection procedures.
