As Professor &University Head, Department of Plant Pathology, ANGRAU having Expertise in Teaching. Taught the under graduate, post graduate and doctoral courses of Plant Pathology and improved the course curriculum for all the courses as per the Deans committees and BSMA guidelines. Published text books, Book Chapters, Technical Bulletins, Popular articles, new disease reports and Prepared course materials and practical manuals of all the courses of plant pathology and on mushroom production and strengthened the standards of Agricultural education and for the benefit of students and farming community. Gave invited talks and presentations in International conferences at USA, Australia, National symposia and received best presentation awards. Conducted State Level Technical Programmes of Plant Pathology, ANGRAU.
As Hon’ble Member, Board of Management, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh, INDIA for 3 years 2012 to 2015 chaired various sessions, involved in making policy decisions for strengthening of the University.
As University Librarian, ANGRAU established University Central library at Lam, ANGRAU and strengthened the libraries of ANGRAU with all e-resources and CeRA etc.
As Senior professor, member of Academic council member of ANGRAU,YSRHU and BEST universities and as member of faculty boards involved in strengthening of teaching, research and extension in the university .
Research guidance: Guided 20 Ph.D students and 18 M.Sc. (Ag) of Plant Pathology and Entomology as major Chairman and member.
As scientist of Groundnut pathology actively involved in releasing the resistant varieties of groundnut viz., Kadiri-5,Kadiri-6, Kadiri-7, Kadiri-8, Kadiri-9,Anantha.
Since 341/2 years serving in Research, Teaching and Extension in Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University in the field of Agriculture and Plant Pathology for the benefit of students and farming community and for strengthening of teaching , research and extension.
Expert Member in the selection committee of Professor CAS Plant Pathology interviews at Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh,
Research Associates, Teaching Associates, and Senior Research Fellow posts in ANGRAU. Member in the accreditation committee for affiliated colleges of ANGRAU and suggested for the improvement of the colleges.
Technical committee member and Editorial Board Committee Member for Journal of Research, ANGRAU.
External Examiner for Ph.D and PG Thesis evaluation, viva-voce and comprehensive examinations, Paper setting at TNAU, UAS, Dharwad, UAS, GKVK, UAS, Raichur, OUAT and PJTSAU.

Research investigations on Colletotrichum blight of chickpea in Andhra Pradesh etiology, disease spread and management as the disease occurred in severe form in 2009 and published a book on the research findings keeping in view of the severity of the disease.
