Research Interests :

Breeding for development of Extra-early maturity Pigeon pea genotypes.
Mapping and identification of QTLs controlling Drought tolerance and Phosphorous Uptake QTLs and their Back cross genome introgressions. A total of 26 BILs for drought tolerance and 22 BILs for Phopshorus deficiency tolerance were developed.
Identification of genomic regions governing fresh seed dormancy in groundnut
Breeding for stem rot resistance in groundnut
Breeding for micronutrient rich stable pearlmillet hybrids
