ICAD Project was successfully operated from 2007 to 2009 for Rs2,76,094/- which is external funded project and conducted FFS on farmer fields with 18 demos on sunflower and SRI paddy in Pulivendula Branch Canal and 25 demos on Soil Test Based Fertilizer Recommendation for Paddy growers in K.C Canal.

Impact: Yield improvement and Water Use Efficiency and Fertilizer Use Efficiency were understood better by the Water User Associations which was presented in front of Sri. Tukker, IAS, Irrigation Commissioner,at Jalsoudha, Hyderabad.He appreciated the efforts made and methodology followed as well the report presented.

I worked as NAIP – Co Investigator along with AKRUTI foundation for two years Rs 39.97 lakhs where in I introduced the Integrated Farming System Approach ( sheep and poultry) as well as new groundnut varieties (Narayani and Greeshma) and field bean variety (TFB-5) in B.Yerragudi village of Konampet.

I have completed a project on “Packaging and Popularization of Improved Production Technologies in Rainfed Agriculture of Chittoor and YSR Districts” ( 2012-2016) as Principal Investigator for Rs22 Lakhs.

ATMA Projects for an amount of Rs 2.5 Lakhs were handled as Project leader “ Introduction of new groundnut variety Dharani in western mandals of Chittoor District ,Introduction of castor hybrid (PCH-111) as well variety Haritha in dryland areas of Chittoor District and Introduction of Velvetbean & Green manure seed production on farmer fields from 2011-2013.

I have worked as PI for Network project on “Influence of natural farming on soil properties, crop protection and production of quality produce” with a budget outlay of Rs.11.21Lakhs from 2016-2020.

Organic nutrient management for export purpose of various field crops viz groundnut& pulses and Precision water management techniques with automation.

I worked as Junior Agronomist at Indo Dutch Net work Project, Bapatla wherein I have worked on salt tolerance rice varieties and sub surface drainage system in Operational research project, Konanki. I also worked as Farm Superintendent at S.V.Agricultural College, Tirupati. I have contributed by safeguarding the university property to a worth of 5 crores in S.V.Agricultural College, Tirupati for which I have continuously pursued the matter for 15 years in various courts starting from local district court to high court and supreme court from 2000 to 2015. University property of 3600 square foot area worth Rs 4 crore was saved because of continuous sincere efforts made by me since 2002 to 2015 as in the capacity of Former Farm superintendent, former program coordinator and presently as Principal Scientist. ( Recently positioned into our university on 01.10.2015).University property saved to a worth of Rs One Crore at RARS, Tirupati (S.No.573/2) beside horticulture garden (2006)

I have also developed new sowing implement for sowing groundnut, I also developed electrical winnower, tractor drawn blade harrow, automatic bullock drawn seed drill during 2000-2003.

I also worked as Programme Coordinator (Associate Professor cadre, Direct), KVK, Utukur from 2007 to 2010 during which I have established new KVK building and inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. I was instrumental in production of large quantities of seed viz groundnut, Bengal gram and earned more than 55 lakhs. Several skill training programmes were organized. I have been awarded by the university with Best Extension Scientist Award during 2010.

I have developed ANGRAU Fertilizer Planner 2015 which got Copy rights during 2020 as it displays university recommendations automatically based on crop and no need to remember and feed them manually. It converts recommended doses available in the form of N, P and K into Urea, SSP and MOP automatically

I have established a model Integrate Farming System at RARS, Tirupati. I have worked as research scientist on oilseeds and pulses for more than 10 years and developed agro techniques for summer groundnut, rabi redgram, contingent crops, fertigation in groundnut farm pond technology for supplemental irrigation to rainfed groundnut for enhanced productivity, I am instrumental in agronomic evaluation of groundnut varieties viz ., Dharani, Nithya haritha as well as redgram variety TRG-22, Field bean varieties TFB1 and TFB-2 etc. Besides, I acted as project leader for natural farming project “Influence of natural farming on soil properties, crop protection and production of quality produce” from 2016 to 2020. I also started bio fortified vermicomposting production unit at RARS, Tirupati. I have also conducted a winter school training for 21 days on “Recent Advances in Groundnut Production Technology” by ICAR, New Delhi

I have developed agro techniques for coastal groundnut production in SPSR Nellore district

I also worked in teaching and prepared various manuals and published five text books from M/s kalyani and B.S publishers.

I also worked as coordinator (Polytechnic), ANGRAU, Guntur during which I am instrumental in introduction of Agricultural Polytechnic Diploma course medium of instruction from telugu medium to English medium. Online counseling for admission in to the polytechnic courses also done in place of manual counseling. Examination question papers made online with pass word protection during my tenure.
