1. As Farm Superintendent at RARS, Anakapalle takenup several developmental activities like strengthening of farm roads, renovation of old buildings & staff quarters, improving irrigation facilities by providing new bore wells, lining of irrigation channels etc.,
2. Strengthened seed production activity at RARS, Maruteru and North Coastal zone.
3. Organised Board meetings of ANGRAU
4. Organised technical review meetings, Pre–ZREAC and ZREAC meetings in Godavari zone and North Coastal zone.
5. Involved in organization of R&D meetings of sugarcane workers of AP, memorial lectures, kisan melas, centenary celebrations of RARS, Anakapalle.
6. Organised training programmes on seed production, MSRI paddy, drip irrigation & water management in field crops, climate change, single node seedling technology and advances in sugarcane production technology.
7. Visited different sugar factories in state of Andhra Pradesh and extended technical support for yield and quality improvement in sugarcane.
8. Revived quarterly news letter “VariSamacharaLekha” at RARS, Maruteru and “CherakuSamacharam” at RARS, Anakapalle.
9. As Principal Scientist (Sugarcane) contributed technical information on sugarcane for Vyavasaya Panchangam and Vyavasayam magazine and other agricultural magazine.
10. Published literature in local language on major crops of the North Coastal Zone and Godavari zone for the benefit of farming community.

1. Received Andhra Pradesh Best Scientist Award 2009 in recognition of outstanding contributions in the field of Agricultural Sciences sponsored by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST), Hyderabad.
2. Received “V.R.Durgamba Charitable Trust memorial prize” (consisting of a gold medal, cash prize and citation) for the year 2006 for outstanding research work / contribution on organic farming practices in sugarcane.
3. Received M/s KCP Endowment award for outstanding Research on Sugarcane in the 51st Convocation of ANGRAU held at Tirupati on 04.03.2022.
